O2 sensor replacement

OK, before I made my trip back from FL, I thought it would be a good idea to change my O2 sensor out since I was still running on the original. I ordered the "race" version they offered. It turns out that it is just a Denso aftermarket sensor but from what I read online, they seemed like a good brand. I installed it and after two days my car threw a P1133 error code. I cleared it and it came back a couple more times. It seemed to go away on the drive back to WA up until a few days ago and now it's back again. From what I've seen online, it appears that this code is saying that the sensor is not responding fast enough. I've contacted ZZP and they state that this sensor is supposed to respond faster then the stock unit. Now let me ask you this, if I had no errors before the swap and now have this error after the swap, what would you think the problem would be? Me? I say it has to be something wrong with the sensor, the sensor is not designed to work with our car, or they sent me the wrong sensor. Now ZZP is playing a game in asking me for my current mod list and asking if I can get a scan of my car. Does it really matter? No problem before, now, problem after. I've been very happy with their customer service in the past but this situation is starting to piss me off.

If you still have your old sensor, I would put it back in and see what happens and go from there. ZZP in my book is starting to turn into the company "they" would bash on the net.....hence Intence (which I have never had an issue with. In fact been running there PCM fo 6 years)

I would agree with Ken. It seems like they've adopted a "blame the customer" mentality lately.

Scan it! Make sure your PCM even see's it. Your short term fuel trim will tell you.
